FIOT will begin with a childrens show and say goodbye to a local comedy, which promises to be a hoot. This FIOT has a great deal of experience in Galicia, it gives collaboration between A_Abdución and Buxam Producións and gives a union of three companies, Belgian, Catalan and Madrid.
The International Festival Outono de Teatro de Carballo (FIOT) was awarded the Galician Culture Prize 2018 in the category of Performing Arts. These awards are promoted by the Department of Culture, Education and University Planning of the Xunta de Galicia with the aim of supporting creative excellence, a capacity for exchange, experimentation and projection of the cultural construction of Galicia, fields of letters, plastic arts, scenic arts, music, audiovisual, cultural heritage and external projection, which are all ways that contemplate the awards. FIOT is 27 years old and it became to convert “in a reference to dissemination and visualization of scenic arts of Galicia.
