The river beach is located in Gabenlle, in the parish of Torás, 500 metres from the town centre of the municipal capital.
This rest area, of great natural wealth, has all the services of a recreational area, such as picnic areas -with their tables and benches, covered and uncovered-, grills, two playgrounds, drinking water, toilets and garbage collection service. The pedestrian walkways link the two areas of the area, which are separated by the course of the Anllóns River.
It is a very busy space in summer and even during the rest of the year on sunny days, since, in addition to being used as a picnic area, it is a great attraction for walking on the banks of the Anllóns river or resting under the shade of its trees. It is an ideal place to visit with the family.
Next to this area the river promenade begins, on the banks of the Anllóns River. It extends from Gabenlle to O Formigueiro in a length of more than two and a half kilometres, along which it forms one of the most charming trails in the region of Bergantiños.
