Find out more about Pazo de Trasariz

This pazo with an attached chapel has on the ground floor a portico of eight arches on columns with Doric capitals. On the upper floor there is a balustrade with a colonnade that supports the roof. The architecture of this building stands out for its large chimneys, similar to those of castles.

The history of the Pazo de Trasariz is linked to that of the Castle. It was built by the nobleman Antonio de Caamaño y Quintana, who appears as governor of the states of Altamira in 1695. In 1880 it was acquired by the ancestors of its current owners.
