The Costa da Morte Great Gastronomic Order renewed the directive.

On a meeting held in Vimianzo yesterday, the Costa da Morte Great Gastronomic Order renewed its board of directors. As president Manuel Antelo Pazos was elected. They are accompanied by the Directive, Rosa Sánchez Martínez as Vice President, Julián Prieto Valdés, as secretary, Pepe Blanco Alborés, as treasurer, and Pablo Aller, Pepe Formoso and Manuel Mouzo as members. As President of Honor José M. Pato was elected.

The new directive plans to work with a philosophy of commitment to the Costa da Morte, with producers and processors, and with health. You plan to develop four projects:

Basket of flavors of Costa da Morte. It is about identifying the products and producers of the area, including the elaborations of bakeries, butchers and food industries.

Knowledge of the Costa da Morte. Traditional and current recipes, methods of work, forms of harvesting, cultivation, conservation, utensils, bibliography.

Markets of the Costa da Morte. Spaces where you can buy local and seasonal production (fairs, markets, supply chambers, specialized shops).

Stoves of the Costa da Morte. Identification of restaurants and cooks that integrate local products in their elaborations and letters.
