The barnacle is one of the most coveted products of the Galician sea due to its intensity and flavour. And, without a doubt, among all the places for the capture of this delicacy, one stands out: the Roncudo. So, as it could not be otherwise, a gastronomic festival dedicated to this delicacy could only be held in one place: Corme. For this reason, every year, the town of Corme is decorated for a tasting of its best product and the celebration of a great festival.
The “Barnacle Festival” is held in Corme on the first Saturday of July.
