Coudes such as Cuño are accumulations of pebbles or coudes formed more than 100,000 years ago, during the interglacial period, with a sea level higher than today. In this case, we are facing a beach with blocks and pebbles of different sizes, mixing large blocks with smaller rounded fragments. This entire place is part of the Area of Special Landscape Value of the Costa da Morte.
