Costa da Morte presents its new campaign: a commitment to the territory’s identity and authenticity

Costa da Morte begins a new phase in its tourism promotion strategy with the launch of the campaign “COSTA DA MORTE: WHERE THE LAND SPEAKS AND THE SKY RESPONDS”, a project created to strengthen the destination’s positioning as an authentic territory, with its own voice and a clearly differentiated identity within Galicia’s and Spain’s tourism landscape.

This campaign starts from a clear idea: Costa da Morte is not a set piece, nor an artificially constructed product for tourism. It is a living, inhabited territory, with a deep relationship between people and their surroundings. Here, the landscape is not polished and culture is not performed: it is lived. And that truth is precisely its greatest value.

The campaign’s slogan captures that essence: a place where the sea, the land, the wind, the light, and the silence are in constant dialogue with those who live here and those who visit. A destination where identity reveals itself in the power of nature, in the imprint of history —hillforts, dolmens, lighthouses, paths—, in a cuisine rooted in sea and land, and also in the way people speak, tell stories, and feel the territory.

A first video that marks the beginning of the journey

The campaign kicks off with the premiere of a main promotional video, an audiovisual piece that travels through emblematic locations across Costa da Morte and shows the territory as it truly is: without artifice, with an honest and close perspective.

One of the most distinctive elements of this video is the presence of the real voices of the people of Costa da Morte—locals connected to the territory who lend their voices to convey, from within, what it means to live here and to be part of this collective identity. Because authenticity is not only in the images: it is also in the accent, the way of expressing oneself, and the way of understanding the world.

This video is not an end point, but the beginning of a broader narrative.

A living campaign on social media

The new campaign will continue on the official Costa da Morte social media channels, where, over the coming weeks and months, a series of themed mini-videos will be published, focusing on different facets of the destination: nature, heritage, science, gastronomy, culture, landscape, people, experiences…

Short audiovisual pieces that will allow audiences to keep delving into the territory’s identity and offer a more detailed and emotional look at what makes Costa da Morte unique.

With this campaign, Costa da Morte reaffirms its commitment to a promotion model that is coherent with what it is: a sustainable, authentic destination, proud of its roots, that does not seek to resemble others, but rather to project its own voice with strength and honesty.
