Camariñas Walks Against Cancer will take place on 20 June 2026 with a solidarity walk starting at 16:30 from Praza da Igrexa de Xaviña. This event invites residents and visitors to join together in support of cancer research, care for those affected and a shared message of hope.
The route will start at Praza da Igrexa de Xaviña and pass through places such as Sixto, Borreiros, Cruceiro, Calle Nova, Covadiña, Gándara, Pedrouzo, Grela and Tasaraño, turning the walk into a community act of solidarity. Registration costs 5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children up to 12 years old.
Participants can register at several points in Camariñas, Santa Mariña, Xaviña, Camelle, Arou and Ponte do Porto, or through the official event website: https://enmarcha.contraelcancer.es/es/es/evento/camarinas-en-marcha-contra-o-cancro-2026. The walk is promoted by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Camariñas, with the collaboration of the Concello de Camariñas.
