Find out more about Dune Complex and lagoon of Razo Beach – Baldaio (Carballo)

In addition to being in front of one of the largest sandy beaches in all of Galicia, known among the surfing community for the quality of its waves, Razo-Baldaio is a real geological jewel in the form of a fossil beach. During the Quaternary this beach was at a higher altitude than today, due to the higher sea level that characterizes this period. This is how we can appreciate in the area of the small cliffs the different strata formed over thousands of years. In addition, the Meridian Depression is born right here, which advances to Tui, fracturing Galicia from north to south.
